Di is an experienced teacher, her first ever was with Duncan Peak from “Powerliving” and uses her love of science, somatic sensing and anatomical background to create playful creative sequences that result in strength, stretch and release, with a focus on the breath. She continually encourages students to come to their "edge on the mat", that comfortable uncomfortable place, that moment in each pose when you want to drop out of a pose, that place you can grow as a yogi but also as a person when you stay. This is where the transformation can happen.

Di uses philosophy throughout her classes, allowing you to develop awareness around your body, your breath and your mind.

“I believe yoga gives us time and space to explore ourselves, space to get to know ourselves”. “The ability to learn to breathe deeply, means we can down regulate our nervous system to calm ourselves, rather than relying on others/or other other things to soothe us.”

 

Di has completed over 1000 hrs of training and has been teaching for over 15 years and is one of senior teachers.

Yin & Pre and Post Natal yoga. Vinyasa level 2. Mobility. Kids yoga. Meditation. Mat & Reformer Pilates.

She is a Certified iRest Meditation Teacher.

Di was original creator of the studio, now a regular on our schedule as yoga , iRest medittaion and pilates teacher and runs 200HR Yoga Teacher trainings and retreats with us.

My name is Abbey. I am a Certified Teacher in both Hatha and Yin styles of Yoga.

I have a passion for healthy living and true wellbeing in this bustling, modern world.
It is the simplicity of Yoga I am drawn to; the way it allows us to slow down, discover our breathing and listen within. My teaching style encourages students to cultivate these attributes in a gentle, easy-going and considered way.

El is a knowledgeable personal trainer & yoga teacher. Her love, passion & energetic vibe really displays in her Core and Yoga Classes at Ebb and Flow. Born and bred in Geelong, El's passion for personal and group training, came from being a competitive runner in her teens. This passion drew her to focusing on others' fitness, health and well-being.

In 2016, she completed her Certificate III and IV in Personal Training. El works at a local gym, specializing in group training. She also runs her own Personal Training business and Run Groups around Geelong. You will most likely see her running all the time around local Geelong tracks, as she is an Ultra - Marathon runner. 

 

This year, she is also completing her 200hour Yoga Teacher Training course. El has always wanted to teach Yoga, since she started practicing 12 years ago. She is so excited and grateful to teach at Ebb and Flow.

El's love for teaching both Yoga and Core Class will shine right away with her bright smile as she welcomes you into the Studio and to her classes. She is so excited for her new yoga journey and growth as a teacher at Ebb and Flow.

A quote that El lives by is - "If you don't challenge yourself, You will never realize what you can become".

Initially Sharon was drawn to Yoga as a way to deal with stress but soon discovered that her Yoga practice helped with every part of her life; experiencing an improved sense of balance, clarity and compassion towards herself and others.
Sharon enjoys teaching a strong, purposeful and cleansing practice promoting the self-healing capabilities of the body. 

She is extremely passionate and committed towards her continual development as a practitioner, and teacher, of Yoga and hopes that sharing her own experiences along the way will provide similar benefits to her students on and off their mats.  

 

Sharon has completed an Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teacher Training, a Post Graduate Yoga Teacher Training and many Workshops, Intensives and Immersions to deepen her knowledge and love of Yoga... forever a student!
